We have a good quality bronze rated unit in the shape of the 500B. It offered decent electrical readings and efficiency well within spec while remaining quiet during our testing, where it powered our test components with ease. The real win for this unit though is the excellent retail price of just £40.
The electrical performance of the power supply is very good, especially considering the price range of the product, it is efficient and has relatively low running temperatures.
With the 500B, EVGA did pretty much what they set out to do - release a good, solid, no frills power supply at an affordable price.
